The CFP List

KIAS has announced the Call for Papers for the second annual “Tomorrow’s Ideas, Now” undergraduate research conference. The deadline for 300-word abstracts is March 19, 2011 at 12:00 noon. Check out the website for more information about the application process, travel and accommodation grants, research themes, and more.

In the same vein, KIAS recently came across a new website for conference call for papers, which has to be the nicest looking one so far! “The CFP List” ( is an academic call for papers database. From their website: “Our hope is that will facilitate new scholarship in the Humanities and Social Sciences by organizing and highlighting conference opportunities to share academic work, receive scholarly feedback, and network professionally. is developed and maintained by Derick Ariyam and Michael Becker. ”

It’s an easy-to-use site that is very nice to look at too! Check it out and find even more opportunities to change the world through your research.

  1. What’s just as nice as holiday gifts wrapped up in shiny paper and topped with a beautiful bow? Glowing reviews that are completely unsolicited! Aww shucks KIAS, you’re making us blush–thanks!

Happy holidays & best wishes for your event,

    Mike & Derick
